Sking in Andorra what is there to do if you cant ski?
my boyfriend booked a skiing holiday for us next week. he booked it as a xmas present so it was a surprise, as it turns out i have a medical condition that would make it dangerous for me to ski, the travel agent said its too late to change the holiday or get a refund so we decided to go and not waste the holiday.
i was just wondering is there much Else to do if you cant ski?? if so what things are there to do, also is it cold there i heard you can get a tan!!!
You can go to the slopes (depending where you are by, taxi or chairlift (if you have a pass)
maybe go up there, watch him. Eat and drink hot chocolate in one of the many café´s
if this doesn’t appeal to you, again depending on your location you can
visit Andorra la Vella (the city, via Bus or Taxi) take advantage of lower sales tax (it’s about %3 now or something) but remember that because it’s outside the E.U you’re suppose to declare anything you buy and possibly pay tax on
You can also visit the Spar in the city
take some excursions to the town, Parliament buildings, the power plant, Tobacco museum
there’s quite a lot to do, but none I think you’d be happy to do alone
You can get a Sun Tan because of the Sun reflecting from the snow, it’s you’re face only (unless you0re skiing naked) although I’m sure there are Sun Bed’s somewhere
If I was you, I’d take many many books and things to do. and during the day maybe go up the slope (if you have the pass) sit in a café and relax
there’s also other sports on the mountain, you can do dog sledging, is many thing things like. ask your travel agent what excursions and facilities there are for you. you may be able to book some before you go – and save some money
what resort are you going to ?
