Where can I rent a 12-passenger van in Denver for a Ski Trip?
I am flying into Denver International Airport for a ski trip with 7 other friends and we want to rent our own passenger van. The Colorado Mountain Express is kind of a rip-off ($89 each way per person). I would imagine we could rent a van for the entire trip for less than $1,424 (which is what the CME would cost). I have checked the websites of Avis, National, Hertz, Enterprise, etc. but haven’t found anything. Any help would be awesome! Thanks.
Greyhound delivers out of Denver to Frisco Transfer Station for about $15 per person. Hertz office is at the Frisco Transfer Center and should be able to provide you with two economy cars to handle the crowd. CME also drops-off there. Frisco Transfer Station, behind Safeway in Frisco, is the hub for the free Summit Stage bus service that provides access to Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain. I suggest the group uses the free Summit Stage during the week.
